5/18/2015 - Magnolia Warbler photographed out my office window, North Dakota Game and Fish Department, Dickinson, ND.

5/16/2015 - White-rumped Sandpipers seen ~4 miles south of Lake Tschida, Grant County, ND.

5/16/2015 - Possibly one of 3 red knots seen ~5 miles south of Lake Tschida, Grant County, ND (digiscoped via cell phone at 100+ meters, and very difficult to find the bird when using the cell phone.  In the spotting scope, I could see red extending down the breast to the legs on two of the mature males).

5/11/2015 - Dark phased Ruddy Duck observed at Patterson Lake, Dickinson, ND.

5/9/2015 - A short-billed Dowitcher photographed at a mud flat on the east side of highway 16 at Thelan, ND, Golden Valley County.

4/14/2015 - Common Loon on Patterson Lake, Dickinson, ND.

4/12/2015 - Caspian Tern photographed at Patterson Lake, Dickinson, ND (one of the earliest ND records for CATE).

3/14/2015 - A Ferruginous Hawk observed on S. Ash Coulee Rd, southern Billings County, ND.

2/27/2015 - A gyrfalcon observed along highway 89 south of White Sulfur Springs, MT.

12/21/2014 - A mountain bluebird (2 observed) along a scoria road along Mystery Creek on Lower 30 Road in central Billings County, western North Dakota.

 10/1/2014 - Varied Thrush observed 10/1/2014 in a creek bottom 6 miles south and 1 3/4 miles west of the intersection of Hwy. 68 and Hwy 16 in McKenzie County, western North Dakota.  Strong west winds all day with off/on showers may have contributed to this stray.

5/11/2014 - Lewis's Woodpecker 3/4 mile east of the town of Sentinel Butte, ND in a lone cottonwood along the railroad tracks.

5/9/2014 - Great Egret flyover at Patterson Lake Recreation Area, Dickinson ND.

5/9/2014 - Palm Warbler  in Owl Clover at Patterson Lake Recreation Area, Dickinson, ND.

5/9/2014 - Rose-breasted Grosbeak feeding on buds of Green Ash at Patterson Lake Recreation Area, Dickinson, ND

5/8/2014 - Sanderling in various plumages foraging along the beach (still present 5/9/2014) at the Patterson Lake Recreation Area in Dickinson, ND.

5/4/2014 - Good side view of a Gray-cheeked Thrush photographed at the Pierce Congregational country church in eastern Slope County, ND.

5/4/2014 - Peregrine Falcon flyover just after it knocked a Northern Shoveller out of the air from a marsh in eastern Slope County, ND.

5/4/2014 - The two photos above have a sloppy photo of a Long-eared Owl hiding in the juniper trees at the NDSU Experiment Station in Dickinson, ND.

5/3/2014 - Winter Wren photographed at the Patterson Lake Recreation Area in Dickinson, ND.

4/29/2014 - Broad-winged Hawk  (Note: dark face coloring is not typical) photographed at the NDSU Experiment Station in Dickinson, ND.  There were 15+ Broad-winged Hawks seeking refuge at the Experiment Station that day after a late spring snowstorm.

4/26/2014 - Black-necked Stilt photographed ~1 mile SW of USFS Talkington Dam, Billings County, ND.
